Aleysha has been working within the media industry since the age of 13, volunteering with local media companies around Hull, before going to the University of Lincoln to study BA (Hons) Media Production. She is at the start of her freelance career, with her strengths lying within Production Management, however, she brings her knowledge of self-shooting and practical skills so can jump into numerous roles. In addition to this, she also has extensive education experience working in schools, helping to run summer schools and work experience within several media disciplines across all ages. She currently is a Guest Lecturer at University of Lincoln and is in her 2nd year as a Media Mentor on the university mentoring scheme.

Aleysha also has experience of working within events, marketing and social media, using her knowledge of creative and technical elements to add an extra dimension to any occasion. Her two big award shows were Coscars (2008-2012) and LAFTA’s (2012) where actor Jim Broadbent attended to present the awards. She also helps run media summer schools, a link to some of these achievements can be found here: http://www.cottinghamhigh.net/uploads/generic/CHL-2012.pdf
